Welcome !

I am Nafiz Ahmed Khan, a doctoral researcher in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. I'm working under the supervision of Distinguished Professor, Dr. Cristina Amon, in the Advanced Thermofluids Optimization, Modelling, and Simulation (ATOMS) Laboratory.  My main area of research is the development of wake models for the purpose of predicting wakes behind wind turbines through the use of deep learning, i.e., a conditional generative adversarial network (CGAN). I'll also incorporate the physics inspired governing equations to the loss functions of GAN. In addition, I would integrate scientific machine learning (SciML), CFD, and a developed wake model to anticipate wind farm layout optimization.
